contraceptive methods are various ways of avoiding the fertilisation of ovum with the sperm and hence preventing unwanted pregnancy from happening.
various contraceptive methods are:

1)natural methods like lactational amenorrhea, coitus interrupts, avoiding intercourse during ovulation

2)barrier methods- condoms, diaphragms etc.

3) Intra uterine devices- copper T, hormone releasing iud etc.

4) surgical methods- vasectomy, tubectomy.

5) implants

6) oral pills like saheli.
