Hey... I think this can be ur answer!!
In modern periodic table, atomic no. is used instead of atomic mass so its more accurate!!
Hydrogen is given a specific position in modern periodic table..
Isotopes have sam atomic no. so problem of their position is solved in modern periodic table..
The elements with higher atomic mass were placed before elements having lower atomic mass in mendeleev's table. Their position is also specified due to use of atomic no. as fundamental property in modern periodic table...
Hope it helps you dear

The following are the corrections:
1. The position of isotopes was not decided in Mendeleev's periodic table. As modern periodic table uses atomic number so there were no isotopes.
2. The elements with heavier atomic masses are placed before the elements with lower atomic masses. But in Modern periodic table they uses increasing atomic number.
3. The position of hydrogen was not decided but in Modern periodic table it is placed above alkalis.
