Crackers are made up of an explosive material and an compacting material namely paper, sand and string.

Sand is used to seal the Crackers from other end i.e from downside so that it should be completely packed.

Crackers produces lot of sound because high amount of energy get release within less amount of time which creates a shock wave which we here as sound.

Crackers creates smoke due to the burning of the explosive and paper or etc (compacting material).
