  • The Organisms which decompose the dead remains of plants and animals are called decomposers.

  • Fungi and Bacteria are examples of decomposers.

Answer:

Decomposers are organisms that  break down organic material such as the remains of dead organisms.

Eg: Fungi, bacteria

In the forest they break down dead plant and animal matter so the nutrients in them are recycled back into the ecosystem to be used again.
