in aerodic respiration oxygen is required ex mashroom . in anaerobic respiration oxygen is not required ex mitochondria.

Aerobic respiration is the one in which oxygen is used up and more energy is produced whereas anaerobic respiration takes place in the absence of oxygen in which very less energy is produced. Some organisms which use the anaerobic mode of respiration are bacteria and yeast.
