Autotrophic Mode of Nutrition - In this mode of Nutrition

organisms synthesize their own food from inorganic raw material like carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight

• Heteretrophic Mode of Nutrition:- In this mode of Nutrition

the organisms cannot synthesize their own food and depend on other organisms for its food. Hetrotrophs Organisms having Hetrotrophic Mode of Nutrition) obtain food from different organism in 3 different ways which are:-

1.Saprotrophic Nutrition:- In this case the organisms obtain it nutrients from decaying organic matter of dead plants or dead animals.Example:- Mushrooms

2.Parasitic Nutrition:- Organism having this mode of Nutrition derives its food from the body of another living organism known as host body without killing it. Example:- Cuscuta have parasitic mode of nutrition

3. Holozoic Nutrition - Organisms having these type of nutriton take in the complex organic food and through process of ingestion the food is digested and absorbed into the cells. Example:- Cat, Dog
