there are three states of matter.....solid,liquid and gas. Solid have a fixed shape and a fixed volume. solid cannot be compressed much. solid have high densities.They are heavy. Liquids do not fill their container completely. Liquids generally flow easily. Liquids have moderate to high densities. Gases can be compressed easily. Gases fill their container completely. Gases flow easily.
