What are different western ghat and eastern ghat

The mountain ranges run parallel to the Bay of Bengal. The Deccan Plateau lies to the west of the range, between the Eastern Ghats and Western Ghats. The coastal plains, including the Coromandel Coast region, lie between the Eastern Ghats and the Bay of Bengal. The Eastern Ghats are not as high as the Western Ghats.

1)Western Ghats receive much more rainfall than Eastern Ghats.
2)Because of this, one sees a greater diversity of flora and fauna in Western Ghats than Eastern Ghats.
3)Western Ghats are more continuous than Eastern Ghats.
4)Western Ghats face Arabian Sea and run along the Western plateau while Eastern Ghats face the Bay of Bengal.
