Describing an animal with a body wall composed only of two layers, ectoderm and endoderm, sometimes with a noncellular mesoglea between them. Coelenterates (i.e. cnidarians and ctenophorans) are diploblastic

The animals which consists of one outer ectoderm and one inner endoderm .These develop from Germ. Layers during embryonic stage of an animal and the phylum which include diploblastic are Porifera ,Colentrata and Ctenophora
