Eclipse is a natural phenomenon happening when planetary objects come along a same line.

There are two types of eclipses:

SOLAR ECLIPSE
This is the phenomenon when moon comes between the sun and the earth and the shadow of moon falls on earth.

LUNAR ECLIPSE
This happens when earth comes between sun and moon , the shadow of earth falls on moon thereby making the moon disappear even during a full moon day.

Answer:

Explanation:

An eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when an astronomical object or spacecraft is temporarily obscured, by passing into the shadow of another body or by having another body pass between it and the viewer. There are two types of eclipse: lunar and solar.

Lunar is when the sun, Earth and moon are aligned exactly or very closely with Earth in the middle. It also has three types: total, partial and penumbral lunar eclipse.

Solar is when a portion of the Earth is engulfed in a shadow cast by the Moon which fully or partially blocks sunlight. This occurs when the Sun, Moon and Earth are aligned. It also has three types: Total, annular, hybrid and partial solar eclipse.
