The word 'mummy comes from Arabic. It means 'a body preserved by tar or by wax'. So, mummy is a dead body preserved by wax or tar. Egyptians preserve the bodies of the kings, Queens and the members of their family in Tomb called pyramids. These pyramids are triangular -shaped tombs made of stones.
