Fuse is a basic element which is used as a safety device at home or in electrical circuit. When the excess current flows through it the metal melts by which the circuit is isolated. It provide protection from over current, short-circuit, overloading, mismatch load and device failure. A fuse is an automatic means of removing power from a faulty system; often abbreviated to ADS (Automatic Disconnection of Supply). Circuit breaker can be used as an alternative design solution to fuses, but have significantly different characteristics.

fuse means those material which break circuit in abnormal conditions and does not break circuit in normal conditions
they important because when load shading is takes place in ccircuit then circuit become breaks and get damaged hence fuse help to damage circuits in small loss
