These areas are called electoral constituencies

♢♢♢ For lok sabha election the country is divided into 543 constituencies and elected representative is MP

♢♢♢Each state is divided into no. of assembly constituencies and elected representative is M.L.A

♢♢♢Each village or town are divided into several wards
