Emphatic pronouns:-

When reflexive pronouns put emphasis on a particular noun, are known as emphatic pronouns.

Example:-

  • I myself will do my work.

Uses of Emphatic pronouns:-

  • These pronouns cannot be used as a subject.
  • When we need to emphasize any subject, we need to use emphatic pronoun.

Personal pronouns like (I, you, we) have their reflexive forms such as (myself, yourself, ourself). These are said to be reflexive pronouns.
