The enabling act of 1833 , formally titled Gesestz zur Behebung der not von volk und Reich , was an amendment passed on23 March 1933 to the weimar constitutiom that gave the German cabinet in effect Chancellor Adolf Hitler- power two inact laws without the involvement of Reichstag.
