There are three types of error: syntaxerrors, logical errors and run-timeerrors. (Logical errors are also called semantic errors). We discussed syntaxerrors in our note on data type errors. ... The following subprogram has three syntax errors.

⭕️here...

⭕️Error = Actual value − Measured value

➖Random errors:

⭕️These errors take place in a random manner and are called random errors.

⭕️ These errors depend on the error in the measuring process and also on the individual measuring person.

➖Systematic errors:

⭕️Systematic errors are those errors which occur according to a certain system.

⭕️These errors are due to known reasons.

⭕️ These errors can be minimized by the source of error.

➖Gross errors:

⭕️These errors are mainly due to silly mistakes like :-

(i) Improper setting of the instrument.

(ii) Recording of observations wrongly.

(iii) Using some wrong value in calculations.
