ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS :these are the amino acids which cannot be synthesized by in the body and hence need to be supplied through food. therefore their supply through food is very essential.
example : arginine, histidine, isoleucine.
NON ESSENTIAL AMINO ACIDS: these are acids which are synthesised adequately in the body and hence there supply through food is not necessary.
example : aspartic acid, cysteine.
