The forces which act in the interior of the earth are called as Endogenic forces and the forces that work on the surface of the earth are called as Exogenic forces

DescriptionIn a variety of contexts, exogeny or exogeneity is the fact of an action or object originating externally. It contrasts with endogeneity or endogeny, the fact of being influenced within a system. In an economic model, an exogenous change is one that comes from outside the model and is unexplained by the model.

That means, the earth's surface is being continuously subjected to by external forces originating within the earth's atmosphere and by internal forces from within the earth. The external forces are known as exogenic forces and the internal forces are known as endogenic forces.
