Fiber:A fiber is converted to yarn and yarn is converted to fabric. So in order, they serve as raw-material to other in subsequent stage.
A fiber is basically filament (something that you can practically see at home - take cotton in hand and each hair-type thing that makes cotton bunch is Filament - explained in most laymen terms).[second image]
Fabric:Once the thread is made (which is yarn), it is used to make fabric - process called as weaving. And obviously fabric is used to make garments.{first image]
