Unemployment has been increased from 3% to 5%. Rather than unemployment, underemployment is a big issue.

Lack of manufacturing sector and dependence on service sector is the issue behind unemployment.

India is a vast country with vast population. More than 1.3 Billion people live in our country. Government initiative could not take into effect because of ill mannered implementation.

Archaic labor laws and licence issues force Large business houses to go abroad and start their business. Large no. of graduates are passing out every year but in same pace jobs are not created. Even prolonged market stagnation is the result of increase in unemployment.

Govt. jobs are created but there is huge competition for that results in massive failures. People spend half their youth in fighting this competitive exam and wasted their lives.

In my view the main reason behind this unemployment and under growth is that our citizens get degrees but they are not qualified enough to be employable. What ever be the profession people don’t know the basic and hence they are not able to deliver results.
