The factors hindering tourism in India may vary ....
1)One major hinder is that India is world famous for its poverty.
2) people also think of the hygiene in India, since it is known for it.
3) now a days also the terrorism had increased a lot in Asian countries out of which one is India amongst the highest rankings, so people fear for that as well.. This is also hindrance to the tourism in India .
4) India is also known for the crime rate high, so this could also be one of the reasons.
5) India is a country where they say that it is a country with unity but it is also known for its didactically and Orthodox beliefs...... For rich people look down for.
*Therese might be a few factors hindering the tourism in India, but when were see on a large scale India has more of positive points that people look for and visit India not just geographically but also socially.
