  1. the factors affecting cultivation are altitude, temperature, rainfall, length of day, daylight, soil, and soil fertility, fertilizers and pests.
  2. the effects of these factors have been studied by growing particular plants and different environmental conditions and observing variations.
  3. in fact, there are the two methods of cultivation first is extensive cultivation and second is intensive cultivation.
  4. in extensive cultivation the farmers use old methods of cultivation.
  5. on the other hand in the intensive cultivation the farmers use improved method of cultivation like better seeds, fertilizers, timely crop rotation and irrigation, modern tools and implements etc.
