in simple words facultative means not 100% conditional

means it's not always parasite

but virus on the other hand is an obligate parasite which means conditionally or unconditionally it has to be a parasite there is no other way round. so no viruses are not facultative they are obligate

Hope you understood (•‿•)

Answer:

Faculative parasites doesnot rely upon the host for everything . They are half independent . They can live without a host .

Yes the faculative parasites also include some viruses , plants and animals . The viruses can live without the host plant .

Also , They require other organisms to host themselves in order to survive and as such, they are regarded as obligate parasites.
