Fertilisers are the substance which helps to improve the fertility of the soil and help the plants to grow and synthesis good quality of crops.
There are 4 types of Fertilisers -
The fertilisers which supplies nitrogen to the plants.
- Example - Urea Ammonium nitrite.
They are the source of Marcronutrients phosphorus.
- Example - Single Superphosphate and Triple Superphosphate.
These fertilisers supply potassium which it one of the essential Macronutrients of the plants.
- Example - Potassium Chloride and Potassium sulphate.
When a fertilisers contain at least two or more nutrients it is called complex fertilisers.
- Example - Nitrophosphate and Ammonium Phosphate.
