Fibres are thin structured which are xylary and extraxylary in appearance. Their length is 0. 5-5. 5cm but can be upto 90cm.
Their cell wall is thickened. Pits occurs in them.Their lumen is quite narrow. Fibres are generally aseptate but can be septate. Ex- Asparagus.
