A.Mobilisation and Organisations:


Political Parties and Pressure Groups: The organizations which directly participate in the democratic process are called political parties and that participate indirectly are called as pressure groups.  


B. Sectional Interest Groups and Public Interest Groups


I)Sectional Interest Groups: The Sectional interest groups promote the interests of a particular section or group of society. Their aim is the betterment and well being of their members, not society as a whole. Ex- Trade unions.


II)Public Interest Groups: These groups promote collectively rather than selectively. Their aim is to help groups other than their own members. Ex- Students’ Union
