A.Mobilisation and Organisations:
Political Parties and Pressure Groups: The organizations which directly participate in the democratic process are called political parties and that participate indirectly are called as pressure groups. Â
B. Sectional Interest Groups and Public Interest Groups
I)Sectional Interest Groups: The Sectional interest groups promote the interests of a particular section or group of society. Their aim is the betterment and well being of their members, not society as a whole. Ex- Trade unions.
II)Public Interest Groups: These groups promote collectively rather than selectively. Their aim is to help groups other than their own members. Ex- Students’ Union
