Decayed plants and ancient organisms are one of the largest sources of fossil fuel that we can depend. Early organisms die and decay under the ground and oceans under certain humidity conditions to form fossil fuel. Decayed animals do involve in the production of fossil fuel but not in large numbers as like decayed plants.
