Definition ⇒ A fossil fuel is a buried materials formed by natural processes, such as anaerobic decomposition of buried dead organisms like plants or animals, containing energy. The process of the Formation is not slow, but it takes many years to form.

Petrol, Coal, Natural Gas are the major fossils fuel which we uses.

The age of the organisms and their resulting fossil fuels is typically millions of years, and sometimes exceeds 650 million years.

For exactly determining the age of the fossils fuels, we follow the method of the carbon Dating.

This is one of the Famous method of the Radioactivity which is used for finding the age of the Rocks or Fossil fuels.

Hope it helps .

HI

⭐️Fossils : the preserved traces of organisms which lived in the past.

❇️ Ways to determine the age of fossils:

➡️ From the depth of the layer of the earth in which the fossils are found. Fossils found closer to the surface are more recent than those found deeper.

➡️ By detecting the ratios of different isotopes of the same element in the fossil material.

Hope it proved to be beneficial...
