HOLA MATE !!!

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU...

ALTERNATING CURRENTS:-
1) Alternating current are the currents that keep on changing with fixed frequency with time.
2) The frequency of AC varies from country to country but maintained at about 40,50,60Hz averagely.
3) AC can travel through long distance circuit.
4) AC when its flow through the circuit reverses its direction to cause variation.
5) Usually obtained through AC generators and mains.

DIRECT CURRENTS:-
1) Direct currents are currents that are in same magnitude.
2) Their frequency at any condition will be always zero(0).
3) DC cannot be travel through long distance circuits.
4) DC when flows through the circuit maintain same direction.
5) Usually obtained through cells or batteries.

THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL QUESTION...

Alternate current is called AC whereas Direct current is called DC . DC electrons flow steadily in a single direction that is forward whereas AC electrons keep switching directions sometimes going forward and backward . AC is safe to transfer over long distances and can provide more power whereas voltage of DC cannot travel very far until it begins to loose energy. AC rotaing magnet along the wire whereas DC hae steady magnetism along the wire .
HOPE IT IS HELPFUL
