Monsoon rains in India mainly occur during four months - June, July, August and September.

(2) it goes on decreasing from east to west ( rains occurring from bay of bengal branch) and from west to east, south - west to north-east.

(3) most of monsoon rains occur during the season of advancing monsoon around 85% of the total annual rainfall..
