What are free oscillations and forced oscillations ?

Free oscillations are oscillations which are left free which means they are not subjected to energy when the energy of oscillation decreases

forced oscillations are oscillations which are subjected to energy when energy of the oscillations reduces in order to compensate the lost energy...!!
