Parliament of India consists of the President, the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha .One of  the most important functions of the Lok Sabha is to select the executive or the national  government. After the Lokh Sabha elections , the leader of the party with the majority of  the elected members is invited by the president to form the government.
