hey buddy !! here's your answer...

✔️genes are part of DNA or RNA ... which are basic unit of inheritance... they are passed from one generation to another and are responsible for expression of certain characters of which they carry information...

✔️genes code for proteins which are responsible for characters in organisms... moreover all genes don't code for proteins...
genes determine the structure and function of each cell in our body

genes are the smallest unit of DNA they carries characters because of this property they are called the carriers
