Answer: Journey to the end of the earth was written by Tishani Doshi that described the journey to Antarctica. The story explains that one can experience the past, present, and future of earth in this cold, dry and wild land.
The students of high school boarded a Russian research ship named 'Akademik Shokalskiy' heading towards
Antarctica from Madras(Chennai). He
travelled over 100 hours in car, aeroplane and ship to reach there.
In this journey, we learned that for about 650 million years ago there was a giant continent called Gondwana.
Rapid human population growth and limited resources exert pressure on land. Burning of fossil fuels has only helped in increasing the average global temperature.They will affect the lives of all the marine life and the birds of the region.

Students, being the future generation, need to take a closer look at the depleting environmental situation. They can put in their effort to bring about a change in the outlook of the society.
