Hey !!
Two molecules of monosacharides are joined together by an oxide linkage formed by the loss of water molecule. Such a linkage between two monosaccharide units through oxygen atom is called glycosidic linkage.
It is present in disaccharides, trisaccharides and polysaccharides.
