What are gravitons?

Good question,.

Here is your perfect answer!

Gravitons are hypothetical particles responsible for gravitational attraction in Quantum mechanics.

It has a spin +2, so we can't see it. But there is a possibility of its existence.

Actually, these particles are produced within a atom(hypothetically) , so there is a conflict between general relativity and quantum mechanics toll now.

In theories of quantum gravity, the graviton is the hypothetical quantum of gravity, an elementary particle that mediates the force of gravity. There is no complete quantum field theory of gravitons due to an outstanding mathematical problem with renormalization in general relativity.
