hey hi!!

Heterotrophs are plants that depend on other organisms for food.

They depend on other organisms because they donot have chlorophyll thus they depend on other organisms for nutrishment.

example cuscuta,animals, humans etc.....

the relation of these organisms is called prasitic relationship.

the organism involved are called host and prasite.

in this relationship the prasite is benifited the host is harmed

prasitess have modified roots called haustoria which suck the nutrients.

prasites make their hosts completely devoid of nutrients.

An organism that can't manufactur. it prepare there own food and instead obtains its food and energy by taking in organic subtance (plants and animals) example: animals,protozoans and fungi
