Homogeneous: A mixture which has uniform composition throughout its mass is called the homogeneous mixture. For example: Alloys, cement , milk, and kerosin oil.
Heterogeneous: A mixture which does not have uniform composition throughout its mass is called heterogeneous.
For example: Gun, powder and somke etc.

HEY THERE!
Matters are classified into MIXTURES AND PURE SUBSTANCES
⇒ MIXTURES are of 2 types:
1. Homogeneous
2. Heterogeneous
⊕ HOMOGENEOUS MIXTURE:
The components completely mix with each Other and its composition is uniform throughout.
⊕ HETEROGENEOUS MIXTURE:
The composition is not uniform throughout and sometimes the different components can be observed.

Sugar solution, and air are thus, the examples of homogeneous mixture
⊕ HETEROGENEOUS MIXTURE:
The composition is not uniform throughout and sometimes the different components can be observed.
For example, the mixtures of salt and sugar, Grains and pulses along with some dirt pieces, are heterogeneous mixtures.
