The cell has two sets of eachchromosome; one of the pair is derived from the mother and the other from the father.
↪️↪️ The maternal and paternalchromosomes in a homologous pair have the same genes at the same loci( Gene locus .... it is a position of chromosomes in DNA), but possibly different alleles.......
if both alleles are similar then it is homologues chromosomes.....

means different alleles
now hope u understand
in meiosis phase of zygotene the synapsis of homologous chromosome occurs so does that mean only the synapsis of maternal chromosome since it is homologous
in meosis it is 50%chance of girl or 50% chance of girl
means
if girl than homozygous or homologuus
but if boy it is heterozygus
