hey........

dude..✌️✌️

The cell has two sets of eachchromosome; one of the pair is derived from the mother and the other from the father.
↪️↪️ The maternal and paternalchromosomes in a homologous pair have the same genes at the same loci( Gene locus .... it is a position of chromosomes in DNA), but possibly different alleles.......

if both alleles are similar then it is homologues chromosomes.....

..hope it helps you.....

angelic090: loci means?
sbroshansatya: means gene locus
sbroshansatya: it is a position of chromosomes on dna
angelic090: sorry does that mean position of dna on chromosome
sbroshansatya: ya
sbroshansatya: no
sbroshansatya: ya
angelic090: ohk

Alleles.

OR..

✔A pair of matching chromosome in an organisms , with one being inherited or different form each parents.

Dear:( hope its helps ☺

angelic090: :-(
sbroshansatya: paternal is hetrogyzus
sbroshansatya: means different alleles
sbroshansatya: now hope u understand
angelic090: in meiosis phase of zygotene the synapsis of homologous chromosome occurs so does that mean only the synapsis of maternal chromosome since it is homologous
sbroshansatya: in meosis it is 50%chance of girl or 50% chance of girl
sbroshansatya: means
sbroshansatya: if girl than homozygous or homologuus
sbroshansatya: but if boy it is heterozygus
angelic090: ohk:-)
