◾Homologous series is the series of organic compound which are attached to carbon compounds.

Example -

OH - alcohol

◾ Sex of child is based on the chromosome inside it, if a child have xx chromosome than she is a girl whereas if child have xy chromosome than he is a boy.

These X and Y chromosome are given by the father and the transformation of these X and Y chromosome are random therefore naither father nor mother is responsible for the gender of the child.
