Hormones, in their most basic sense, are chemical messengers. Hormones are released from specific organs or glands in the body and travel through the blood stream to send messages to other cells. All of the cells in our bodies have specific hormone receptors.

hormones are the secretions of specific type of glands called endocrine glands which are used in our body for different purposes. insulin is a hormone used to fix the sugar levels in the body,and many more hormone (s) are used for different purposes.
