Often times, the resources found in nature cannot be used directly for any productive purpose by human beings. Take metallic oars for example. You can have chunks of hematite but you cannot do much with them apart may be from hurling them to hunt down wild animals. But we have advanced far from those hunter-gatherer days. And we have made enough mistakes to know how to extract iron or make steel from hematite oars. Since iron or steel rods are not found in nature, they are considered human made resources.
The same logic applies with bricks, cement or our technology. We have to do something to the naturally available substances so that they become of some significant use to us. Therefore these final products are called human made resources.
Buildings; Roads; Vehicles; Machinery and Equipment: These resources which are very useful to man are made by man using natural resources. Technology - Technology refers to the process or method by which goods are produced.
