✔ It is defined as:-

the organic molecules which is only made up of two types of atom called as carbon and hydrogen. 

✔️Such organic compounds made of hydrogen and carbon atom only are called as Hydrocarbon molecules.

✔️Two types of Hydrocarbon :

It gives rise to the hydrocarbon called as a branched chain hydrocarbon.
