Hypogynous :- The arrangement of a flower in which the whorls arises from the base of gynoceium.
eg:- Dhatura


Perigynous :- The arrangement of a flower in which all the whorls including gynoceium arises from the same level.
eg :-Pisum cativum(pea)

Epigynous :- The arrangement of a flower in which the gynoceium arises form below the other whorls.
eg:- Cucurbita (cucumber)

✔✔ Whole of the pistil is visible from outside.

✔✔ Constituents of androperianth develop separately and are well-spread.

✔✔ Thalamus is disc-shaped, cup -shaped or flask-shaped.

✔✔ Androperianth is borne around or above the level of ovary.

✔✔ Periphery of the thalamus is expanded to form hypanthium.
