Igneous rocks are formed when the hot,molten rocks cool and become solid.
There are two basic types:-
- Intrusive igneous rocks
- Extrusive igneous rocks
i)-Intrusive Igneous Rocks
It becomes in solid formed after slow cooling under the Earth's surface.
ii)-Extrusive Igneous Rocks
Molten comes on to the Earth's surface and cools to form small crystal.
