Answer:

An infinitive is formed from a verb but doesn't acts as a verb.

It acts as noun , adjective or adverb and it is actually made up of two words: to+ verb . These two words acts together as noun , adjective or adverb .

Examples:

  • I love to swim. ( noun)
  • The person to call is Jerry. ( adjective)
  • I can't wait to see! ( adverb)
