An infinitive is a non finite verb which is generally preceded by 'to' and used like a noun adjective or adverb

abhaygoel71: it is not necessary that infinitives are always used with to

The Infinitives is the 'to_ ' form of the verb. It does not changes its form with a change in the subject or tense.

e.g:-

1) The boys like to walk in the park every day.

2) My sister likes to walk before dinner every day.
