Infrasonic waves are those which frequencies is less than 20 Hz. It can be heard by human.

And ultrasonic waves are those whose frequencies is more than 20 kHz.

The ultra sonic waves cannot be heard by a human.
The ultrasonic waves cannot be heard by a human as the audible range of human ear us 20 Hz to 20000 Hz.

The ultra sonic waves are used to monitor the development of a foetus inside the mothers womb.
