What are intensive and extensive properties in thermodynamics?

Intensive - The properties which is independent of the mass (amount of substance present)  is an intensive property. Example ; Temperature(whether 1 kg or 10 kg of a given substance temperature will remain same- if you consider 1 kg of ice or 10 kg of ice the temperature is same everywhere), Pressure, Specific volume, density

Extensive - depends directly on the mass present... Ex Mass and total volume - Example 1 kg of ice is different from 10 kg of ice.
