What are inter particle forces? How it is related to three states of matter?

the inter particle forces are the forces between the particle of a body.
In three states it is related:-
In solid- the inter particle force is more so it is rigid and has definite shape.
in liquid- the force is less as compared to solid and it is not rigid and does not have definite shape.
in gas- the force is least as compared to solids and liquid and it is not rigid and does not have definite shape ,its molecules are free to move

The inter particle force is the force between the particle. The inter particle force in solid is very strong, so the solids cannot move and they have definite shape.The inter particle force in gases is the least because there particles are very far from each other. The inter particle force in liquids is in between solids and gases because the particles in liquids are not joint and not so far.
